The Night Watcher (Callie Munro Thrillers)

In this tense and razor-sharp thriller, Bloody Scotland Debut Prize winner Tariq Ashkanani introduces PI Callie Munro—a survivor who’s had to fight for every inch of her life. Abandoned as a baby and raised by strangers, Callie has grown into one of Edinburgh’s toughest private investigators. But when she uncovers a disturbing pattern of missing women—victims the police seem determined to overlook—she refuses to walk away. With only an organised crime boss willing to back her, Callie is pulled into a dark hunt where every clue reveals another lie and every step draws the killer closer. Fighting for the forgotten may cost her everything… including her life. Fast-paced, gritty, and gripping from start to finish, this explosive series debut is perfect for fans of Ian Rankin, Val McDermid, and Robert Galbraith.
