Stranger Things and Dungeons & Dragons (Graphic Novel) | Jody Houser & Jim Zub

Stranger Things and Dungeons & Dragons is a beautifully illustrated graphic novel that brings together two cultural icons: the world of Stranger Things and the legendary tabletop role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons.

Set in Hawkins, Indiana, this story takes readers back to the early days of Mike, Lucas, Will, and Dustin—long before the Demogorgon changed their lives forever. Through their first D&D sessions, the boys form an unbreakable bond, learning teamwork, courage, and friendship as they face both imaginary monsters and real-world challenges.

Written by acclaimed writers Jim Zub and Jody Houser, and illustrated by Diego Galindo, this graphic novel is a love letter to role-playing games, eighties nostalgia, and the friendships that define childhood. With dynamic artwork and heartfelt storytelling, it captures how shared imagination can shape lives.

Perfect for fans of Stranger Things, Dungeons & Dragons, and graphic novels alike, this book offers a nostalgic and adventurous look at how heroes are born—both at the gaming table and beyond.
