One key area of inquiry is the relationship between public and private selves. Do the homes of celebrities reflect the personas they project to the world, or do they reveal something entirely different? How do fashion designers, stylists, and image-makers choose to live when they are no longer designing for others? Does their personal environment mirror their professional sensibility, or stand apart from it? Stories may emerge through homes, collections, objects, archives, and personal spaces; but the focus shifts from decoration to what these environments reveal about the people who inhabit them.
